Did the whole Bug In thing Sunday morning after Early 911S registry coffee.  These are the highlights, saw a pair of rare Keystone Raider wheels a guy found in Mexico, to bad he didn't have all four.

I saw this video on my buddy Scott's blog Scootermcrad blogspot. First time I have seen a film that truly depicts the sights and sounds of the  vintage racing scene !    WOW!

Fender Showman

My nephew and I Picked up this 1963 Fender Showman at a old auction house in south central L.A. a few months ago. Plugged it in and it worked but needed help. So you never know who your neighbors are, I know a guy named Chris Olivas ( pictured above) who has a business near mine and I knew he played guitar to so I asked if he knew someone locally who can repair old amps and he told me he could and would be willing to check it out. So as the story goes we started talking about his experience and it turns out he was a sound engineer back in the day in Hollywood and has worked with everybody from Barry White to Billy Idol in the 90's he also has engineering credits on Tools first album! Chris is a great guy and is brilliant with old equipment, the amp sounds insane and will be for sale. If interested contact me.

Went out to Auto club Raceway in Fontana Sunday morning, got to do some fast laps in the 911T.  No passing rule kept things under 105mph.

Opposed to the Horizontal

I ran across this Tatra a few Saturdays ago, it is a really original car. The owner was a guy named Josh and he was very informative about the car and it's history. I told him I had met Paul a guy in Echo Park that also had one and he said there were 3 in North America, his, Paul's and Jay Leno's. I tend to think there are a few more here but maybe un-registered as of yet. Well if you didn't notice that is a Flat four air cooled engine sitting back there. That motor pre dates  Dr. Ferdinand Porsche's design. The engineer was Hans Ledwinka also of Austrian heritage, he designed a chain drive single overhead cam per cylinder bank flat four in the late twenties early thirties. His son Hans became head of engineering at Tatra in the late thirties and designed the T-97 which closely resembled the VW Beetle.

1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 coupe

I previously displayed a image of this car along with cabriolets of same year this is one of  three built in 42. This is one of my all time favorite Alfa's. The body work is incredible.
