The Man and Le Mans
Received the movie as a Christmas gift from my brother in law. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It gave me a new perspective on the movie and explained a lot of why it has the look and feel that it does. Seminal moment in Steve's career for sure!

Jr Dragster 2015 Points Champion
Our very own Jr gearhead Leonardo raced over the weekend making two great qualifying passes on Saturday. On Sunday he changed his own oil, plugs and made sure he had proper tire pressure and out he went to the semi finals before moving to the finals. He made his winning and last pass of the season with a time of 7.03 @ 40.95 mph

George Barris R.I.P.
A GIANT in Custom car culture George Barris passed away yesterday at age 89. George built cars for every major star of the 60's and 70's including Elvis. He was the go to guy for every T.V. show and Major motion picture featuring a special one of a kind automobile, including every custom theme car in T.V. Always current, always available, always relevant. George was one of the builders who made So. Calif./L.A. the custom capital of the world! As recent as last week he had made a public statement regarding who owns James Deans Spyder. And as I suspected it is still him and his estate. I was planning a special post regarding this ongoing story, it will appear shortly.
