Spent Sunday morning hanging with the DKP members at the Bug In!

Car Show

Stopped by a small neighborhood Car Show on Saturday. Very few cars but I did run in to a friend I haven't seen in awhile, his name is Vic Izuo and he owns the 67 912 pictured. I worked on that car a few years back for him. I rebuilt his carbs and got a lot more power out of it just tuning on it a bit. The car is really nice and he does like his cars "LOW" it's one of the lowest 912's I have seen. The "Rod Riguez " Custom was there , really impressive to See in person.

Dan Rider j 6 Creative

My buddy Dan Rider of  J6 Creative shot this Panamera . The car was built at C&C collision, a shop across from our business . The Porsche was built for a overseas client. Dan does a great job with studio photography print ad and fine art reproduction in the greater L.A. area. This is just a sample of what he can do!

Lightnin Hopkins/Keith Richards

I think Keith Richards was influenced more heavily by Hopkins than most people would suggest. They often say Chuck Berry and Howlin Wolf before anyone else, but regarding  Lightnin's playing style and overall attitude, you cant help but see Keith in there!

Pulled the Bus out of mothballs, it's been off the road over 5 yrs. I rebuilt the motor years ago and never installed it. Ben came over early Sunday morning and helped me not only with getting the motor off the engine stand and back in the Bus,  but helped me clean out my garage and yard so I could get to it. The rear brakes froze, tried bleeding them but had to attach a tow strap and drag it out of it's hidding place. Still have to connect a few things and put oil in her.  Thanks for hanging out all day Man,  I couldn't have done it without you!
