911 HLS "Klappdach" Rennsport coupe
My cousin Lou sent me this link regarding this forgotten 911 concept car. The University of Aachen worked on technical drawings and created the prototype body. The car was painted in Wurselen. It seems that the design concept found no favor at Zuffenhausen, so the car just sat outside next to the University body shop for 40 yrs. Manfred Herring of Early S registry has been asked to restore the coupe. It looks like the car may be presented in its current state at Techno Classic in april 2015!
