Wisdom

The older I get the more true this has become. I have always used visualization in my life even before I knew how it would apply itself. It all has to happen in our own head before it can be realized.

Vintage X Games

Found this randomly on you tube. Enjoy all the vintage bikes and Porsche's. Otto Mathe, the one armed racer can be seen in his 4 -Cam special racing and winning!! These guy's are insane, all those cars and bikes are running spiked snow tires so if they go down there is probably someone coming up behind them.

Lou's Metal Shaping ( History )

The Last car my cousin Lou worked on at his old shop Los Angeles Kounty Kustoms was this 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 built by Carrozzeria Touring of Superleggera construction developed by Felice Bianchi Andaloni. This is a very rare automobile for two reasons, one it was the middle of WWII and two, cars of this type were always special ordered.  It seems only three 6C 2500 Superleggera's were made in 1942, two cabriolet and one coupe ,all three being ordered by the German high command.  Although all three were ordered by the Germans, the one my cousin built was actually used as a German staff car complete with Flag Stanchions on fenders and a mounted spot/signal light on windshield frame. These holes for flags and light were chosen to be filled in, although my cousin Lou believed they should be retained for historical accuracy. Lou mentioned that for historical accuracy he also followed the original hammer marks from Touring, being careful to replicate this style of coach building.  Years later he saw original period pictures from Touring that confirmed his approach to this method. I have included a picture of  the two other 6C 2500's , the black coupe blows my mind and is my favorite. The Alfa has since been sold by the U.S. owner and is now in Germany.
